“When will I be paid?” is the question we receive most often from our customers.
Payments are made within 5 (five) business days after we receive your package. We handle a large volume of boxes, so we need time to remove labels, inspect the items, and log in order details to ensure your payment is processed accurately.
That said, we aim to process payments as quickly as possible, so you may receive yours even sooner!
You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been processed. If you're checking on the status of your payment, please first review your email for the confirmation.
While we’re always happy to hear from you, emailing to inquire about payment status can actually slow down the process. Time spent looking up individual quotes takes away from processing payments, which may cause delays for you and other sellers. Rest assured, we know how important timely payments are, and we work hard to get them out as quickly as possible.

We do accept certain other products, but you'll need to contact us via email to confirm. All the items we currently purchase are listed on our Sell Your Test Strips page, including diabetic test strips, insulin, insulin supplies, and lancets.

We offer multiple payment options, including Cash App, Check, PayPal, or Venmo. You can choose your preferred payment method during the checkout process when submitting your quote. Simply select the option that works best for you.

When choosing your shipping option, select 'Shipping Kit,' and we’ll send you a box along with a prepaid shipping label!

If you choose to mail your supplies on your own, we will cover all shipping costs. We kindly ask that you use USPS First Class or Priority Mail (please avoid Express Priority Mail) and ship your supplies in a sturdy box to ensure they are well-protected. Be sure the shipping cost is visible on the label, as we will reimburse you for the charges when we process your payment.
If you request a prepaid shipping label when submitting your quote, we will email you a postage-paid label to print and use, so you can ship your supplies at no upfront cost. You should receive the label within minutes of submitting your quote—be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox.
For those requesting a shipping kit, we will send you a box along with a pre-printed postage-paid label. Once you receive the kit, simply pack your supplies, seal the box, and drop it off at any post office or mail center. Please allow up to 6 business days for the shipping kit to arrive.
There is no limit to the quantity of test strips you can sell, as long as the following conditions are met:
- You must be an individual aged 21 or older.
- You acknowledge that TandemLegacyCommodities.com serves as a platform for selling excess diabetes test strips that you legally own and have the right to sell.
- You confirm that you are the sole and rightful owner of the items being sold to TandemLegacyCommodities.com. If any items are determined to be stolen, you will not receive compensation.
- The diabetic test strips you send must be sealed.
- The test strips must not be expired and must have at least 10 (ten) months remaining before expiration. Libre sensors and readers must have at least 4 months remaining before expiration. To calculate, count the current month as “0” (e.g., if today is in October, strips must not expire before August).
- TandemLegacyCommodities.com will not compensate for expired test strips. Any expired boxes received will be disposed of.
- TandemLegacyCommodities.com will not pay for damaged boxes, which will also be disposed of upon receipt.
- We only purchase test strips with NDC codes and do not accept international boxes.
- We will honor your quoted price as long as the test strips you send match the details provided in your quote request. Each shipment is inspected for accuracy. We reserve the right to adjust the payment if the condition or type of strips you send differs from what was quoted. For example, if you submit a quote based on retail pricing but send mail-order boxes, the price will be adjusted accordingly. Please ensure your quote accurately reflects the test strips you are sending, as we do not return boxes.
We accept most types of retail and mail-order test strips, including: One Touch Ultra, One Touch Verio, Accu-Chek Aviva Plus/Guide/SmartView, Bayer Contour (retail only), Bayer Contour Next (retail only), Freestyle, Freestyle Insulinx/Lite/Precision, and TrueMetrix (retail only).
Please note, we do not accept boxes with broken seals. Any boxes received with broken seals will be disposed of and you will not be paid for them.
We do accept some damaged boxes, though the payout amount will be reduced accordingly.
If your boxes have labels, please do not remove them, as doing so may damage the packaging and render the boxes unsellable. Rest assured, we will remove and shred all labels before resale.

When calculating expiration dates, count the current month as "0" and the following month as "1," continuing in this manner. For example, if the current month is October (month "0"), strips expiring in ten months would expire in August (month "10"). Diabetic test strips must have a minimum expiration date of at least 10 months. If the expiration date is less than this, the quoted price will be adjusted accordingly. Libre sensors and readers only have a minimum expiration date of at least 4 months.

No, we do not accept them. The diabetic test strips we purchase must have an expiration date that is at least ten (10) months from the date we receive them. Additionally, the boxes must be factory sealed and in good condition.
While various factors can cause price fluctuations, the primary reason is that test strip prices are determined by supply and demand. For instance, if a manufacturer floods the market with their brand of test strips, it can lead to an oversupply, resulting in a price decrease. On the other hand, when a particular brand is in short supply, the price of that test strip will rise.
We do not return items that are sent to us in error. We recommend double-checking your shipment before sending to ensure it matches your intended order. If you have questions or concerns about the items you are sending, please contact us by email for clarification prior to shipment. Thank you for your understanding.
